Our Core Ministries
Children’s Ministry : Enriching Minds. Through the power of God’s word. Jesus commands us to “allow the children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14. Children are a kingdom focus and must be taught the word of God, to ensure a rich inheritance in the faith.
Prison Ministry : Relationship Building. Jesus said, “I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:36. It is our duty to visit those incarcerated, as were many of the disciples in the early church. We can encourage them with the refreshing news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The word of God sets the captive free.
Elderly Ministry : Health and Well-Being. Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone. Psalm 71:9. God’s word compels us to minister to the old and shut in. We must engage with the elderly in order to better understand our path; in order to be equipped for a more glorious future.
Veterans Ministry : Hope and Healing. From Benjamin there were 2,000 troops equipped with bows and shields, they were under the command of Eliada, a veteran soldier. 2 Chronicles 17:17. We have a responsibility to our military soldiers to care for them and their personal needs, as they have given the ultimate sacrifice of their very lives for our freedom and liberty.
Bible Study : Strengthening Bonds. Strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22. As we endure these hardships, we need each other to remain true to the faith. Therefore, we must love one another and encourage each other, thus strengthening the ties that bind us in the faith.
Missions Ministry : International Outreach. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20. All nations of people will be in heaven. We can reach them with the word of God, by lifting up the name of Jesus. Then Jesus came to them and said, “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.” John 12:32.
Celebrations Ministry: Life Events: On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding. John 2:1-2. Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. “Take away the stone,” He said. John 11:38-39. Jesus went to weddings turning water into wine and to “home-goings” to celebrate life eternal. In Him, we have everlasting life. God’s word commands us to rejoice with them that rejoice and to weep with them that weep. Romans 12:15. However, we do not weep as those that have no hope, for we know that all that are in Christ have eternal life. 1 John 5:11
